​PM calls for landlocked to become land-linked countries

Lyonchoen Tshering Tobgay and Aum Tashi Doma attended a reception that the President of the United States Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted for Leaders of Delegations to the 70th UN General Assembly on September 28 in New York.

In the morning, at a sideline event of the UN General Assembly, Lyonchoen met with the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Dr Miro Cerar. The two prime ministers agreed to work towards strengthening and enhancing bilateral relations.

Lyonchoen also delivered his statement at the “High Level Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries at the Heads of State & Heads of Government Level.”

  2. I apologise Lonchoen for this travel which open a so tiny country to a so great international assembly . He is a very stasteman . And Bhutan must be proud to have a so great manager .

    The Lord protect him for a very long moment as a PM .

    Yes , thanks to him , landlocked country become a linked country with the world .
