Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck graced the inauguration of the 14th annual Tarayana Fair in Thimphu yesterday. Around 70 community members under various Tarayana projects are exhibiting their products that range from textiles to farm produce. The three-day fair’s objective is to uplift the livelihoods of people in rural areas by generating income.
