Assistance: The signing ceremony of the Exchange of Notes (E/N) for “the Project for Reconstruction of Bridges on Primary National Highway No.4” will be held on December 16 in New Delhi, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Japan.

In this ceremony, the E/N will be signed between Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, Kenji Hiramatsu and Ambassador of Bhutan to Japan, Vetsop Namgyel.

This project, which totals 2,156 million Yen, aims to reconstruct bridges on the primary national highway.

“The Government of Japan hopes that the Grant Aid will ensure efficient and stable transportation, and further strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between Japan and Bhutan, who are celebrating the 30th anniversary year of the establishment of their diplomatic relations,” it is stated.
