O’Strangers, Bhutan’s alternative rock band will launch its maiden international performance with a two-month showcase at the Hard Rock Hotel and Hard Rock Café, Pattaya, from this month.

The two-month gig sets two records as the first time a Bhutanese band is performing in Thailand and the first performance by a Bhutanese band in the internationally-renowned Hard Rock Café franchise.

“We are excited by this opportunity to share our music with a discerning international audience in Hard Rock Café Pattaya, Thailand and look forward to attracting a wider fan base for O’Strangers” said the bandleader and songwriter, Jurmey.

A brand new performing playlist has been especially for the Hard Rock Café Pattaya stint taking into consideration its diverse international audience. The band will showcase its original compositions alongside its arrangements to established rock classics.

The band has made over 50 appearances throughout Bhutan including the International Band Festival 2015 in Thimphu.

O’Strangers comprise of Sonam Jurme (Band Leader/Songwriter), Sonam Rinchen aka Zombie (Lead Vocalist), Ezzuu BJ (Lead Guitarist), Sonam Jigme (Guest Bassist/Vocals) and Ujjal Gurung (Guest Drummer).
