After almost two years of delay, works to construct the country’s first dedicated cricket ground in Gelephu have resumed.

Restrictions in procuring clay soil from Guwahati, India, suspended the construction works that began in October 2016. Bhutan Cricket Council Board (BCCB) managed to obtain the clay soil worth about Nu 0.7 million (M) in April this year.
