A 42-year old man died on impact when the bolero he was travelling in veered off 30 meters below the road at Tshaetajaley on the way to Daba in Nubi, Trongsa on June 30.

The accident, which occurred at around 3:15pm had seven passengers on board. Three passengers, one male and two female were referred to Trongsa hospital while others escaped with minor injuries.

Officials with Trongsa hospital said that one of the females who had fractured her arms and knee was referred to the national referral hospital in Thimphu yesterday. The other two were discharged yesterday after a night under observation.

Police suspect the accident could have occurred due to steep road, inexperienced driver and extra passengers.
