More than 400 youth footballers, officials from Nestle India, Bhutan Football Federation and parents were involved in a grassroots festival held at Changlimithang, Thimphu on February 25 to flag off Bhutan Milo Cup 2018.

Bhutan Milo Cup is a youth football tournament that is expected to include around 20,000 students from across 20 dzongkhags and thromdes. The grassroots programmes will include inter-school tournaments and inter-district youth tournaments.

The tournaments will be played in different age categories for both male and female.

The finals of the Cup will be played in December for boys and in January next year for girls in Gelephu.
