A Memorandum of Understanding for a collaborative effort on drug control programme was signed between Bhutan Narcotics Control Authority (BNCA) and Bhutan Taekwondo Federation (BTF) on November 6.

With the signing of this MoU, the two offices agree to cooperate in their efforts to reduce drug problems among the youth in the country. A press release from BNCA states that the BTF will advocate and sensitise on the harms and ill effects of drugs, alcohol and tobacco use through its taekwondo programmes and its 27,000 members spread across the country. BNCA o will support BTF with capacity development and other programme support where necessary.
