From about three international compound archery competitions Bhutan has taken part in, the best result came from the 12th South Asian Games in Shillong last year where the Bhutanese team and individual compound archers bagged a silver and a bronze respectively.

The league leader Transport United thrashed Phuentsholing City 0-13 in Phuentsholing on September 9. Thimphu City, currently the second on the table, overwhelmed Paro United 13-0 at Changlimithang. Ugyen Academy that stands in third defeated Thimphu FC 4-0 at home on September 10 in Punakha.
