A dry spell has stopped farming activities in Radhi, in Trashigang, considered to be bowl rice in the east.

A farmer, Tashi, said that the water source was far away from gewog. “Without rainfall, irrigation water is not enough. The households higher up cultivate first. Only then we get the irrigation water.”
