The Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB) has banned Druk Phuensum Tshogpa’s candidate for Paro’s Lamgong-Wangchang constituency, Phub Tshering from contesting any elections for life.

Phub Tshering, who is also a former Paro Dzongkhag Tshogdu chairperson, had submitted election returns 23 days after the expiry of the deadline, which was November 19, 2018.
