FM to go on “authorised absence”

Breaking News: Foreign Minister Rinzin Dorji will be on “authorised absence” to prevent controversy and conflict of interest when the Office of the Attorney General prosecutes him on behalf of the government.

He will be on authorised absence until the case is resolved.

Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay will take over the portfolio of Foreign Minister.

  1. By the way, is the same Judge (Dorji Puen or the spiritual brother) of the accused still going to precide over the case? If so, is the conflict of interest not considered?

  2. Despite knowing the FM”s actual stature of being convicted and despite knowing that tainted one should not be entertain why is ECB allowed him to stand in election,, Secondly why he is not surrendered by the Govt?? We are sure that Law must has be imposed equally to all.
