with next election just around the corner, quite many aspirants have come open in public including BBS declaring their interest to contest. Many of them are unemployed fresh graduates, contract employees like teacher and tourist guide, coorporate employees, self-employed private individuals and retirees….Makes me think of becoming MP as sort of employment opportunities and one very attractive.! But the more confounding fact is how all of them seem to say with utmost confidence that each of them know the rural life and difficulties like the back of their hand. I hope they really do and have practical solutions at hand or else the innocent villagers ll be losers at the end while the MPs live their dream without a sense of guilt.
