We the affected civil servants are still in hope that something good will be heard soon from RCSC and our Government. Please see the possibility at least to put the in-service Bachelor degree holders to P level from SS level who were once in P level before remapped by RCSC. Promotion period for SS level can be brought back to 4 years from existing 5 years. Some SS level Civil servants are still holding important posts meant for P level BUT doing progressive works fulfilling beyond their mandates in every fields. If RCSC can give same opportunity to SS level in place of P level officers considering the seniority and experiences (especially Unit In-charges under the Department & Agencies), it would be highly appreciated… la. and most of the present problems will be solved. No hard feeling la… just my concerns…. We are still eagerly waiting for good news from RCSC and our far sighted present government… Thanks….
I think Government, RCSC and the Education Ministry has to do something on this important matters where lies the future of the graduates. It is really sad news for them after spending so many years in studies and hard earned money of their parents. No one go for further study in India willingly but in compulsion as the education is primary necessity in this 21st Century. Actually it was not the fault of graduates at all I would say. Rule can be made and changed as time demands for the betterment of general public…..It needs flexibility… so that every body can be found happy in this GNH country….
I fully agreed with the issues raised by the above authors because I was also one of the victims of the same system. My promotion stagnated more than 12 years in the same grade although I have Bachelor degree certificate from one of the recognized college under RUB. Recently I became more sad to see my position level changed to SS from earlier P level. Only God Knows. BUT I am full hope and confident that the present capable and visionary Hon’ble Chairman will surely bring light to the faces of senior civil servant by bringing major changes in BCSR 2012.
Yes… what Author expressed are 100 percent right as more than 80 percent civil servants in S&S level are unhappy with the new system. We are feeling demoralized and discouraged with the new remapping system. All the P level civil servants are brought to SS level. After vigorous works for more than 20 to 30 years with utmost dedication, devotion, loyalty and sincerity in civil servants RCSC instead of rewarding, demoralized. With this system, senior civil servants are not respected though they shouldered any kind of responsibilities and good parts of their life already spent in civil service. In other countries, even in India senior civil servants are respected most and given high profile as they have the good experiences in their profession. Would be highly appreciated if the RCSC once again hear the grievances of those senior civil servants and see the possibility to remapped again to P level those who were in P level before remapping. We can guarantee…. almost all the civil servants would be happy if done so. “Rules are made for change for good” and we are waiting for good news from RCSC. Thanks…..
I agreed with the author… I too have been busy trying to login REMIS for PIT filing since many days…. but could not success till to date… I contacted with the RRCO several times but they told me their REMIS system was down or not working…every time I contacted them. If their system is not working…. Why are they not trying other system which would be user friendly…??? Shall we wait like this ?? if so. for how long??? G2C is defeating… if the RRCO acts like this… sorry to say so…
