GT member warned for not wearing tshoglham

Korphu gewog administration in Trongsa issued a warning letter to a civil servant serving in the gewog for not wearing tshoglham (a traditional boot) during the gewog tshogchung (GT) held on August 20.

The letter dated September 3 stated that the civil servant not only failed to abide by the decision of a GT session that mandated wearing the tshoglham, he also came is black gho and black shoes, which is considered inauspicious.
