His Majesty The King granted an Audience to the director general of the Border Roads Organisation of India, Lt General Suresh Sharma, AVSM. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), besides developing and maintaining roads along the Indian border, also renders these services to friendly neighbouring countries. In Bhutan, BRO works through Project DANTAK and has assisted in major infrastructure development since 1961.
