The thromde administration will now monitor the housing issues and policies in Samdrupjongkhar town consulting with the relevent agagencies,  the dzongkhag tshogdu (DT) decided on June 21.

Dzongkhag planning officer, Wangchuk, said housing crisis is one of the main challenges in Samdrupjongkhar among others. “Civil servants refuse to come to Samdrupjongkhar because of the housing problems.”
