The sixth edition of the Indo-Bhutan Car Rally flagged off from Kolkata, West Bengal, India on March 4.

The rally will cover four Indian states and two dzongkhags in Bhutan.

Themed ‘Connecting People’, the event is being organised by India-Bhutan Foundation and Indo-Bhutan Friendship Association as a part of celebration of the 50 years of Bhutan-India relationship.

The rally will converge at Siliguri, India on March 9.

The event, open to both civilians and the armed forces, is expected to strengthen friendship between the two countries.

The event expects about 30 participants from India and Bhutan.

The rally will end in Thimphu on March 11.
