Janphutse residents want highland programmes

Surrounded by lush green forest and beautiful paddy terraces, Jangphutse is a typical picturesque Bhutanese village situated near Indo-Bhutan border in Trashiyangtse.

The land, according to the villagers, is fertile and they boast of harvesting all nine kinds of cereals. They also grow varieties of vegetables.
