I will serve the Tsawa-Sum with utmost loyalty and dedication. Given the mandate to represent Mongar dzongkhag in the National Council, I would review the performance of the government including implementation of planned activities of 12th Plan.

I will uphold the Constitution and worked tirelessly with utmost respect for the empowerment  of all sections of the society for the realization of Gross National Happiness.

I am a lawyer who has learned, practiced and argued law before courts over five years.  I believe that a lawyer with experience in practicing law can become a good law maker. Moreover, history has shown around the world that lawyers make good legislators.

I firmly believe that Masonry is for mason and carpentry is for carpenter. So is a law making  best suited  for lawyer!

People of Chagsakhar got a great opportunity to choose the best candidate because nobody represented them in 2013, both in NA and NC elections.

The gewog has many capable people in government, private and other institutions. The gewog also has the highest vote bank. In this election, two candidates contested from the gewog and people nominated me with the hope that I can shoulder any kind of works.  So I came forward to fulfil people’s expectation and serve The King, people and country with utmost dedication.

I was born and brought up in the village and I believe that it’s time to serve the people of my dzongkhag.

I have seen the hardship of people in remote places and I want to help the poor people.

I want to bring  necessary changes in the lives of people with equity and justice. It’s my promise to serve with utmost humility up to my capability.

I commit to uphold the Constitution for a vibrant democracy and strengthen the rule of law.

As of now there was no NC candidate from Mongar gewog although the gewog is largest among the 16 gewogs. So, I personally feel that people should choose the right person for the right place.

Since the other candidates are equally competent with best capability, it will be hard but people are wise enough to make the right decision.

People elected me as their representative in 2013 although I didn’t have any experience before. Now people of Mongar have more confidence in me after they saw my service to the Tsawa-Sum.

My five-year experience during the crucial period of consolidating democracy in our country is an asset that the people of Mongar can be confident about. I had the opportunity to humbly prove that with the right motivation, commitment and leadership.

A National Council representative with experience of having worked hard and delivered on many constituency concerns and national priorities would be a logical and natural choice at an important juncture of Mongar dzongkhag’s fast paced progress. people of Mongar knows very well how I intervened to address issues and concerns in different villages of 17 gewogs.

As I had a difficult childhood, my focus is on helping the youth and people who come from deprived families. I also want to help the elderly people.

I would also explore the possibility of developing the economy and creating opportunities that are sustainable. I also want to ensure that the government safeguards the interest of the nation and fulfils the aspiration of the people through public review of issues, bills and other legislation.

I am bilingual, fluent in both Dzongkha and English which is the basis of a Parliamentarian. My age and experience – 38 years is neither old nor young and I have 13 years experience of serving in different organization like Education Ministry, GNH Centre, Drugs and Alcohol Association, private company and film industry.

Leadership quality is an inborn. Right from school days and through college, I was a prefect. At Sherubtse College I was the only Dzongkha (Hons) student to serve as the 1st Year representative, secretary and president to the student body known as FINA.

I contested in 2013 NC election. Since I am passionate about the role of NC, I am recontesting in the 3rd Parliamentary election without loosing hope.

With these qualities I think I can serve people with humility and dignity in protecting the sovereignty and security of the nation.

people vote for you?

To review and make laws, one should understand the principles, doctrines and philosophies of law. So given my qualifications and experience, I feel it befits my intention of serving the people at the highest legislative body. As an advocate, I have been thorough with the laws and problems arising before the court of law.

As a practicing lawyer and legal consultant for more than three years I felt many issues need to be reviewed pertaining to the impugned laws as there are many obsolete laws which need immediate amendments.

As I was born and brought up at my village, and educated at the constituency, I understand the issues and problems faced by the people from the grassroots level and the appropriate solutions thereof.

I can understand the problems and issues related to youth and the problems of senior citizen.
