A 38-year-old man from Drametse, Mongar was murdered around midnight at Drukgyel in Paro yesterday.

According to sources, around midnight the suspect visited his ex-wife. The two had divorced recently.

It was learnt that the victim was suspected of having an affair with the suspect’s ex-wife. 

When the suspect forced and entered the house, he found the victim with his ex-wife, after which he stabbed the victim twice in his right lumbar and on his chest.

The suspect also stabbed the woman on her breast.

The suspect confessed to having committed the crime.

 The woman is in stable condition.
