Chief Election Commissioner appointed

2 January 2006- His Majesty the King on December 31, 2005 appointed Auditor General Dasho Kunzang Wangdi as the Chief Election Commissioner.
His Majesty also appointed foreign secretary Neten Zangmo as the Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the director of the National Pension and Provident Fund, Ugyen Tshewang, as the new Auditor General of the Royal Audit Authority.
