The President of the Bhutan Bodybuilding Federation, Dasho Ugen Tsechup, was awarded the International Federation of Bodybuilders' (IFFB) silver medal for his dedicated service in promoting bodybuilding in Bhutan.
The award was conferred by the IFFB Vice President Mr. Datuk Paul Chua who is in the country with other IFFB delegates.
Major Karma Tshering and Karma Wangchuk were also awarded the Asian Body Building Federation (ABBF) category B judge licenses.
The two awardees as certified judges can judge national body building championships, Asian Invitational Championships, Asian Championships, Asian Pro-Am Classic Championships and the Sea Games.
The two judges can also conduct classes and examination at the national level.
