After leaving their paddy fields fallow for more than four years, the people of Nimshong in Trongsa will cultivate paddy, but without water this year.

Without irrigation water, the people were forced to leave the fields barren, which then turned into bushes forcing more than 90 percent of the residents to depend on imported rice.
