His Holiness the Je Khenpo will elucidate and empower the oral transmission of Kangyur Jaglung (the teachings and precepts holy scriptures of Lord Buddha) for the peace and well being of all sentient beings at Kuensel Phodrang in Thimphu. The three-month long empowerment begins today. His Holiness received empowerment of Kangyur from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche in Kalimpong, India when he was 10. The lung is meant to be proliferated by all other lams and trulkus, monks, nuns, lay monks  and devotees to promote and spread the Buddha dharma.
