His Majesty The King granted an audience to volunteers who participated in the 17th Batch DeSuung integrated training programme at Lungtenphug yesterday. The 114 men and 11 women, comprising senior level officials underwent a two-week training from October 12- 24. A total of 2,015 people have completed DeSuung training since it began in 2011.

Around 50 students from Motithang higher secondary school display their art during the closing ceremony of a three-day art workshop in Thimphu. Conducted by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Delhi, India and the Royal Textile Academy, students were taught a wide range of painting methodologies and techniques such as block printing, weaving, and tie and dye. The workshop’s intention was to help each student find the medium, style and approach that allows them to speak through their artwork. The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art was established in 2010 as a non-profit organisation.
