Tourism Department, of Government of Assam organised Assam tourism Road Show on  October 9 in Thimphu. A team of 18 members from Assam tourism, Ambassador of India to Bhutan Jaideep Sarkar, officials from the government of Bhutan, a cultural troupe from Assam, tour operators from India and, 85 tour operators from Bhutan attended the show. Speeches, folk dances of Assam, presentations, and interactions between Bhutanese and Assamese tour operators were some of the highlights of the show.
