His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen offered prayers at the Tashichhodzong on Duechen Nga Zom or the Lord Buddha’s Parinirvana on June 17.

Namgay Tongchoe prayers are being held at the Kuenrey of Tashichhodzong, presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo. Lord Buddha’s Parinirvana, falls on the 15th Day of the 4th Month of the Bhutanese calendar, and marks the five significant events in the life of the Buddha.
