The newly elected Gelephu Thrompon Tshering Norbu takes the oath of office, as required by the Constitution, before taking office yesterday in Sarpang. 

The new Thrompon from Trashiling Demkhong was elected in April, winning in all six demkhongs. Along with the Thrompon, tshogpas from five demkhong also took the oath yesterday.
