Workers launched a 23-metre bailey bridge across the Chamdey Gangchhu stream in Trongsa yesterday, two months ahead of schedule. A flash flood in October last year swept away a shop, two huts and the bridge to Nubi gewog centre. Construction of the bridge began in April and is expected to be complete by December 24.
