The government will convert the Rural Enterprise Development Corporation Limited (REDCL) into a Cottage and Small Industries (CSI) bank, the finance minister informed the National Assembly on June 13.

The economic and finance committee had also recommended the same and the decision came up during deliberations on the annual budget 2019-20.
