The busy paddy transplantation or Changla has begun in Wangdue. But with very little water to share among three chiwogs, the season is more tiring for farmers in Gasetsho Gom gewog.

The scarcity of irrigation water has like every year resulted in disputes even as some guard their share day and night and others steal water to ensure timely transplantation. The problem is in the distribution system. And the dispute over the existing water distribution system has created division among the people in the gewog.
