Paro police have forwarded a defamation case involving six individuals for circulating a pornographic clip through WeChat to Paro dzongkhag court on August 30.

A 30-year-old woman from Lango in Paro filed the case against two individuals from the same village about two months ago. During investigation, police found that four men and two women from Paro were involved in circulating the clip.

The police detained the six for six days before they were released on bail.

According to sources, the woman learned about the obscene clip after one of the villagers sent the clip to her sister claiming that she was the woman in the video.

The woman claims that she is not the one in the clip.

Paro dzongkhag court held a preliminary hearing and the accused will be heard in the next hearing.
