The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) on June 15 issued a notification cautioning the tour operators to clear pending bills to hoteliers and related service providers in the industry.

The notification stated that the council had received increasing complaints from hoteliers about delays and payment defaults. The council recorded complaints of about 49 defaulters with pending bills amounting to Nu 8 million.
