Football: In the ongoing Thimphu League, Thimphu City FC’s goalless draw with Thimphu FC on May 1 at Changlingmithang Stadium, allows them to remain at the top of the table on goal difference.

This was the first meeting of the league’s two top teams and both remain undefeated. Both teams have the same amount of points.

In earlier matches, Thimphu City FC defeated FC Tertons 2-1, and DrukStar FC 4-2.

Thimphu City FC will face Druk United on May 7 and DrukPol on May 8 for its last game of the first round of the league.

Meanwhile, the U-17 National Team got its first win over Tensung FC.

They will face DrukStar FC on May 10.

Tensung FC remains at the bottom of the table with four losses and one draw. Tensung will face Druk Pol on Thursday.
