Three convicts escape in Wangdue

BREAKING: Three male inmates convicted to life imprisonments for Chorten vandalism escaped Wangdue police custody, between 7:30pm to 8pm, yesterday.

Kuensel has learnt that the three men were from Sephu and were sentenced five days ago by the Wangdue district court for vandalising Chortens in Sephu and other places in Wangdue.

The three were able to break out after bending the iron bars of a toilet window, sources said.

Wangdue police are currently searching for the three.
