Windstorm affects about 87 households in Phongmey

A windstorm on August 12 that started around 2:30pm has damaged more than 45 acres of maize crop belonging to 87 households in Phongmey gewog, Trashigang.

Phongmey gup, Pelden Dorji said the windstorm affected three chiwogs of Thongrong, Yabrang and Phimshong. “Yabrang chiwog was the worst hit with 66 households affected.”
