Accident: A woman was killed on the spot when the truck she was travelling in went off the road and fell 60m below the road on April 17 at Broksar in Saling gewog, Mongar.

The driver was brought to the Mongar Regional Referral Hospital and is in stable condition.

The 49-year–old woman was the only the passenger, when the incident occurred.

She was travelling to Mongar from Wama village, Silambi gewog. She has two children.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined . It was raining at the time of the accident.

The accident took place 40km from Saling gewog.
