Women national team sees improvement despite loss

The senior national women’s football team lost 0-3 to host Nepal on March 12 in the ongoing South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Championship at the Shohid Rongoshela Stadium in Biratnagar.

The defeat, however, comes as an improvement for the Dragon Girls, according to team manager, Sonam Peldon. “The last time our girls took on the same team in 2016, we lost 8-0.”
